A couple of weeks ago I got Bailey a finger painting kit...something to do on the upcoming rainy days. She didn't get all crazy messy like I was anticipating, but I think after the initial shock of it. She really enjoyed it! She looks so grown up in these pics!

On St. Patty's day, I did a little photo shoot for a friend out a the USI disc golf course. Check out a 'few' of the pics.
CLICK HERE. We had a great time and the girls became, "friends," and enjoyed playing together.
Bailey just turned 17 months old a couple of days ago. Oh, what a great age this is. Her NEWEST favorite thing is counting. She counts 1-6...tries to go to 10..but the last few numbers are hard to understand.
She has days where she says , "A B C D" well, then other days you will here, A D D D...:) That's my girl! She has also started saying "ASHES ASHES...FALL" for ring around the rosy. SUPER CUTE IN MY BOOK! SHe is loving to climb everywhere and anywhere and spin around and around then fall. Oh, to be a kid again!!!
We are having so much fun with her outside! When it is time to come in, of course, she throws a minor fit...but who can blame her? I don't like coming in either after being cooped up all winter! We have had a VERY busy past few weeks...from going down to Grammy's (Nonny) a couple of weeks ago, to going down to Lake Barkley last weekend and stayed with some friends of ours. We had a BLAST! Bailey did great napping and going to sleep at night in a house she had never been in. She is doing so well in regards to that.

Eating: It is somewhat better. She will now eat a green bean & broccoli...but nothing else of the fruit or veggie variety that is not "baby food." I hate that I have to keep buying that stuff, but she needs it for the nutrition...and someday she will eat what we are having. As far as meat goes...she still eats, ham, hot dogs, pork chops, bacon & chicken...but NO beef or sausage. It will happen one of these days. Even though it isn't great like other kids her age...it is STILL way better than just a month ago. She will only feed herself with a spoon for oatmeal only...everything else from a spoon, we feed it.
Today, I took Bailey to the zoo (which for the first time ever, SHE LOVED IT! We toured the whole zoo, except Amazonia. I got to see parts of the zoo I hadn't seen in years. She was so calm and quiet in her stroller...it was very nice! (complete opposite of last year when she would scream bloody murder when in the stroller ONLY at the zoo!!) I have a new way to exercise when the weather is nice....Hills at the zoo, here I come! :) After the zoo, we went to Wesselman's Park to play on the playground. Bailey discovered there that she has found a NEW love. The SLIDE! ( I wanted to take a pic but I didn't have my camera :( )I bet she went down that slide 30 times! My back said more like 50 by the time I picked her up to sit her on it each and every time! After that, we picked up some lunch then came back & picked up Keenan...he works at Good Sam which is right by Wesselman Woods....so, we had a little picnic. In the 8 1/2 years that Keenan and I have known each other, LITERALLY every time we do a picnic, it is WINDY! CRAZY WINDY! Today was no exception! :) As always, we laugh it off and have the best time while chasing a few runaway napkins!

Needless to say, when we get back from our vacation, we are ordering her a swing/slide/sandbox set from Little Tikes!!!
On another happy note, Keenan and I just closed on the refinancing of our home this past Friday!! We refinanced to a 15 year loan which took off 12 years of the existing loan! We are very proud to have accomplished that!
Keenan and I are really looking forward to our vacation. 12 days from now. We are going to Lake Guntersville in AL for 5 days/4 nights. I hope Nonny is ready for the task & I hope I am ready to be gone from my baby that long! I just hope the weather is pretty for Bailey to play outside! This is the first Easter we will not be home for...I can't say I am sad about that. After being gone a week, the last thing I will want to do is come home and cook a big meal. Thanks Nonny for doing that for us. :-D It is appreciated in advance!
